What version of macOS do I need?

Does the timer stay on top of other windows?

Yes. The floating timer window stays visible above all your other apps so you can always see the time. Drag it anywhere you like, and it follows you across all Spaces and fullscreen apps.

Are there keyboard shortcuts?

Press Option+T to instantly show or hide the floating timer window from anywhere.

Does it show in the Dock?

No. Tiny Timer is a menu bar app — it lives quietly in your menu bar and never clutters your Dock. When a timer is running, the countdown shows right in the menu bar.

Can I adjust the timer while it's running?

You can use the + and − buttons to nudge the countdown time up or down by 5-minute increments, even while the timer is running. Preset buttons and mode switching are locked during a run to prevent accidental resets.

What sound does it play when the timer ends?

Tiny Timer plays the gentle macOS "Purr" sound and sends a system notification when your countdown reaches zero.

Can I have Tiny Timer start automatically when I log in?

Yes. Open the menu bar popover and toggle "Start at Login" to have Tiny Timer launch automatically every time you log in to your Mac.
